He studied advertising graphics and photography in Italy at the Bellisario Art Institute. Subsequently he attended the Academy of Costume and Fashion – FASHION DESIGNER in Rome.

Ambassador of Italian talent in the world, she moved first to Australia and then to London where she refined her work experience of great importance. Subsequently he returned to Italy, his native country.

Today, although her commitment abroad is always present, she decides to develop her art on the Italian territory, first of all using an all-female workforce, led by the craftsmanship of peoples who still keep the historical art of truly unique elaborations precious in the their kind, where artistic sensitivity is accompanied by the most refined technique, now the queen of timeless elegance.

And so it is, that on Gabriella Capuani’s drawings, agile fingers of women highly trained in the wake of ancient techniques, move deftly, making one knot after another with the loom, managing to fill large surfaces or even spaces with extreme precision of a few square centimeters.

An arduous task, but carried out with passion and truly capable of building a very high quality product.

Gabriella’s subjects are much loved and are differentiated through countless subjects, which include the abundance of flowers, leaves, birds and animals of all kinds, as well as represented by the versatility of abstract and curious shapes with the most varied colors … now warm, now cold, now nuanced by the desire that encompasses the will of an environment that calls for the balance of its versatile elegance.
